“Write the vision And engrave it plainly on tablets so that the one who reads it will run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time, it hurries toward the goal; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2: 2-3
Where do you see yourself a year from now – what about five years from now? Allow this exercise to assist you as you create your vision. Sometimes it’s the simple approaches to life that will make a lasting impact.
- List 3 things you are most passionate about.
- List 3 things you enjoy doing to past time.
- List 3 things you would do if you could not fail.
- What do you value most?
- What would you do to make a difference in the lives of others?
Based on your responses, create a vision statement. Be creative in your thinking and allow your imagination to stretch as far as it will go, it can happen for you.
I also encourage you to create a vision board for your life. You may ask, what is a vision board? A vision board is a collage of pictures and images to help you clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on your life goals. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.
I host vision board workshops with groups as well as work individually for those who are a bit shy. Be sure to check back for my upcoming events or you may contact me directly for a one-on-one session. Contact me at email@example.com.
