Scriptures that Inspire

I put together some of my favorite Bible verses to encourage you along your success journey…

For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Every step in life has been ordered by the Lord. We may not always see it, but God has a plan. A plan that is good, perfect and fitting for our dreams and vision.

“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning, I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” Psalm 5:3 (NIV)

Begin your day with prayer, thanksgiving, and meditation. Ask the Lord for the desires of your heart and believe that he will answer.

“…Encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.” 1 Thessalonians 2:12 (NIV)

No matter how successful we become in life, we must always seek to be shining examples of God’s light and love.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

It is important that we forgive ourselves quickly, and not dwell on our past mistakes.

“But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” II Corinthians 12:9-11 (NIV)

In our weakness, God makes us strong. We will always have challenges, but it is in those times, God wants us to lean on him for his strength, grace, and guidance.

“The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24 (NIV)

Life will challenge you in ways you never considered. There will be days when you stumble and fall, but God will always be there to catch you and lift you back up.
